Fernando is a young self-taught painter, mural artist. Born in Los Angeles, CA in 1973 and raised in Lincoln Heights. As an adolescent he was fascinated by murals painted in his neighborhood, which inspired him to paint his own murals reflecting hope and love for life with encouraging vision of the future.
He has four existing murals in Lincoln Heights. His paintings have been exhibited in galleries in Los Angeles, San Diego and other galleries across the Nation. He exhibited at the Anthropology Museum at the University of Arizona at which his painting was purchased for their permanent collection. Many collectors have classified his work as being that comparable to Rivera, Orozco and Picasso. His original masterpieces represent society as he sees it. His work is in high demand and he’s considered one of the upcoming and emerging artists in the Los Angeles area.
