"THE HEALER" (40 x 30)

"Fernando Barragan is just a vato from the neighborhood that finds his inspiration around his surroundings. Lives in LHTS between the hills and the concreted LA river pass.  He sees many discrepancies in his neighborhood that don’t get fixed. He believes friendships are sacred but rare. Fernando lives in the moment and expresses himself best with his brush. His canvas of choice is a 40x10ft wall in the neighborhood.

As an adolescent he was fascinated by murals painted in his neighborhood, which inspired him to paint his own murals reflecting hope and love for life with encouraging vision of the future. Chicano and Mexican muralist inspired this one of a kind artist. Many compare his styles as being comparable to Rivera, Orozco and Picasso…just don’t tell him that."
